| | Pet Euthanasia.....Can you do it? | | I was just out walking my friends toy poodle who is 16 years old, almost blind, losing his balance, and stumbling. He is my friend's first and only pet she has ever had and being single treats him like a child. I have often said that she should be thinking of putting him to sleep before he starts to suffer. I thought I could do it but for some reason just now walking him I began to have doubts. He's not mine but I have grown very fond of him and I have decided that I will not bring up the subject again. The idea actually brought tears to my eyes. | |
| | Has anyone ever seen a Mermaid, Shapeshifter, or a Fairy? | | I did a ritual along time ago to see things like this, supposedly, people aren't ever supposed to see them so I did a ritual to see them, and no I wasn't on drugs either, or alcohol, but anyways, I saw an orange thing floating in the high weeds I looked and followed it, and when I got closer to it, it changed it's shape into a frog, a gold fish, then a dragonfly, I was like literally flipping out about it! I read books and they said fairy's can change their shape to disguise themselves, but I new what it was because it was changing it's shape in front of me, and plus a goldfish doesn't fly neither does a frog, lol. I know this sounds stupid and crazy believe me, if I didn't see it than I wouldn't believe in it either. I wanted to know though if anyones seen a mermaid, i'm like obsessed with mermaids they fasinate me so much, as well as shapeshifter's. About shapeshifter's something happened to me when I was little, I was sleeping and my friend woke up and took a picture of me, because she said I turned into a panther, and it was a polaroid camera too, so I know she couldn't have messed with it, for one she didn't have time to, because I woke up immediatley after that. I... | |
| | Dog loses jaw after cruel beating | | JOY, a little black dog whose jaw was surgically removed after he was almost beaten to death, still looks at humans with love.
Despite the cruelty rendered to him, he still looks at people to be petted and loved.
On Dec 2, Sabrina Yeap, managing partner of the Furry Friends Farm (FFF), rescued Joy at the Ki-Park Sri Utara construction site belonging to developer, Kepong Industrial Park Sdn Bhd (KIP Group).
Joy’s jaw had to be surgically removed after it was beaten half to death by Indonesian construction workers.
Joy's lower jaw was dangling and his tongue was hanging out.
Two eyewitnesses said they had seen him being beaten by Indonesian foreign workers who kept calling the dog haram as they continuously beat it.
Joy’s lower jaw was so badly injured that it had to be surgically removed, but its tongue was saved despite having lacerations and blood clots.
Dr Habeeb Rahman Ibramsa, a lecturer in Quran and Sunnah studies at the International Islamic University in Gombak, volunteered to give a talk to the foreign workers who were involved in the beating of Joy.
But, to date, the owners of KIP Group has refused to co-operate.
“I wish to end this ignorance. The...
| | wife and mother-in-law | | One fine morning a man was leaving a cafe after his morning coffee, when he noticed a most unusual funeral procession A funeral coffin was followed by a second one about 50 feet behind the first.
Behind the second coffin was a solitary man walking with a black dog.
Behind him was a queue of about 2000 men walking in a single line.
The man couldn't stand his curiosity.
He approached the man walking with the dog, "I am so sorry for your loss, and I know now is a bad time to disturb you, but I've never seen a funeral like this with so many of you walking in single line. Whose funeral is it? "
The man replied, "Well, that first coffin is for my wife. "
What happened to her? "
The man replied, "My dog attacked and killed her. "
He inquired further, "Well, who is in the second coffin? "
The man answered, "My mother-in-law. She was trying to help my wife when the dog attacked and killed her also. "
A thoughtful moment of silence passes between the two men.
Then the first one asks in excitement "Can I borrow the dog? "
The man calmly replied "Join the queue."
| | What would you do? | | What would you do? Remember that question because I am looking for advice not sympathy. This story may be long and sad but I need to get it off my chest and I would really appreciate any advice. Thank you in advance. Its after midnight here, so it is January 4th 2007. Today would have been Charlie's 3rd birthday and also its been three years since my father died. Let me tell you a little about Charlie. The day he was born I was up at the hospital with my dad who was dying. I had called home because my dog Jessica was about to give birth. I was told that she had one pup in the driveway, but it was brought into the house and it was okay. I then went to my dad's room. He seemed in great distress although he was in a coma. I knew it was the end. I held his hand and told him it was okay to go and that I loved him. A tear formed in his eye and he took his last breath. So after I returned home, I wanted to know about the dog that was born first. He was black with a small white patch of fur on his chest that looked like a cross. I considered him a gift from my father. I loved that dog.Charlie was an inside dog. He went out into a fenced in area to do his duties. He hardly ever left... | |
