| | Are Pig Ears dangerous to our furry friends? | | I was shopping tonight for my doggies and I was looking for pig ears...they love them*smile*. Anyway I ask a store associate where they were and they told me they saw a vet on tv telling how dangerous they are. What do you think? Have you heard that? I know I heard that greenies are dangerous...but pig ears? | |
| | What is your pet's favorite 'people' food? What about dog treats? | | Mine LOVE sweet potatoes. You'd a thought it was meat fresh from the cattle or something the way the gourged on it!
They also love pizza and spaghetti.
They enjoy pig ears and those little raw hide bones with knot at both ends and raw hide chips. They turn their noses up at regular dog bones.
| | Have you eaten food with blood as ingredient? | | We filipinos have this bar-b-q made of curdled chicken's blood and 'dinuguan' which is made of pig's blood. A lot of you here may find it disgusting but a lot of us loves to eat it and doesn't even think that its disgusting. LOL! So would you like to try blood on your menu? have you tried some? | |
| | About Philippines and the Filipinos based on the observations of a foreigner | | To all Pinoy! here is a forwarded email i received from a friend. It's an article written by Matthew Sutherland. He stated his observations about the Philippines and the Filipinos.
Let me know you find the article. How you feel as a Filipino. Do you agree to his observations?

I have now been in this country for over six years, and consider myself in most respects well assimilated. However, there is one key step on the road to full assimilation, which i have yet to take, and that's to eat BALUT.
The day any of you sees me eating balut, please call immigration and ask them to issue me a Filipino passport. Because at that point there will be no turning back. BALUT, for those still blissfully ignorant non-Pinoy out there, is a fertilized duck egg. It is commonly sold with salt in a piece of newspaper, much like English fish and chips, by street vendors usually after dark, presumably so you can't see how gross it is. It's meant to be an aphrodisiac, although i can't imagine anything more likely to dispel sexual desire than crunching on a partially formed baby duck swimming in noxious fluid. The embryo in the egg comes in varying stages of development, but basically it is...
| | Guinea pig ears | | So I got this new pet the other day - or rather, my daughter got it. A guinea pig, 6 weeks old. It's very nice and cute. The only thing is that it has a weird black crusted sore at the etch of one of its ears, with half a milimeter (0.02 inches for the metric system impaired people overseas;-) ) of white skin surrounding it. Anyone got an idea as to what that can be? | |
| | What would YOU eat for $500,000? | | BB food contest this week....crickets, pigs ears, slop...and the HG's had to eat whatever it was they picked in the game. Based on Rock, Paper, Scissors....I don't remember what beat what....but based on if you won that round or not, you had to eat whatever it was you picked. I saw Dan and Michelle eat crickets, Jerry eat slop, and April eat pigs ears. I don't know what I missed...that was bad enough. So how far would you go in a game like this to win the big prize and to win food for your team? If you don't follow through and eat what you are supposed to eat, your team loses....you become a target. What would you eat to win the prize? What would you refuse? Were the pigs ears cooked or raw? If they were cooked, I would have had to choose that for each round. But if they were raw...what about the risks of all the diseases and parasites you can get from raw pork?I can't even step on a cricket unless I have to...can't stand the crunch....no way would I eat it. | |
| | Big Brother 10: April...Ugh! | | So, I have been collecting some stuff about April to share with all of you. Instead of starting like three different discussions about her, I figured I would try to cover it all in one discussion right now. I sort of think I forgot something though but, hopefully it will come back to me.So, the other night, she was talking to Ollie and the following paragraph was copied from www.mortystv.com from the live feed updates:We come back from FotH with April placing herself on a pedestal. She is telling Ollie how friends say she is 30 and beautiful, smart, charming, hard working, nice and sincere so how could she possibly still be single. Ollie says he believes that. He says when he looks at her he wonders "What's the catch?" She makes a joke about secretly being a serial killer. Yup...I can't figure out why she is still single. It couldn't possibly be because she is already so in love with herself that she simply doesn't have enough room in her heart to either allow someone else to love her nor does she have enough love left to give someone else? I don't know! Or, could it be because she is never satisfied? You know...5 entire designer outfits but, nothing is her taste?... | |
| | what dogs eat | | Does your dog eat pig's ears? and if so does the dog eat it very fast, have you ever had trouble with the dog digestion after eating that way? I'm unsure whether to let our dog eat them she eats it so fast. | |
