| Last week put erected our new garden shed - a timber one 8ft by 6ft with a Single Door & window . We managed to put the shed up in the day but left glazing the window till the next day
As you probably aware glazing windows can be quite difficuly
t, especially with getting a good neat finish on the glazing compound . It must have taken me an hour to get the glazing compound joint perfectly smooth & even . We were that pleased with our efforts we rewarded ourselves with a trip to the pub!Returned 2 hours later completely refreshed . We look out of the kitchen window & to our horror we saw that the glazing compound around the window was half missing!! We could not think how this could have happened & assumed birds had pecked away at it .
We took care repair the damage & went to bed early as we had an early start the next day
The following morning we opened the curtains - & again looking at the shed we could see the joint around the window had gone again!!!!! . Not to be dismayed I repair the glazing joint again . However this time we took it in turns to watch the shed to see if the attacker returned . Sure enough the thief return 2 hours - guess... |
