| | What Size Bed.... | | I am on a business trip tonight. I'm 200 miles from home, it's 4am, and I'm butt-tired. I want to go home, but I want to go to bed even more. Hence my question to all of you. What size bed do you sleep in....at home. King, Queen, Full, Twin, Toddler, Crib, Bassinet, Sofa, Sleeping Bag? | |
| | Owens sleeping habits | | O.k, i really need some one to help me on this one. My son who is three has been coming into my bedroom at nightime to sleep and for the life of me, i do not know how to keep him in his bed and asleep.Abit of help would be muchly appreciated as the bags under my eyes are getting bigger and i don't think i could handle sleeping on the edge of the bed for much longer! | |
| | | What would you do in a zombie invasion? | | Realistically, what would you do if zombies attacked us? Say you had 2-3 days warning. Using the supplies you have, what would you do?
Realistically, I'd get a wooden plank after hearing about the zombie attack nearby. I'd then climb up this huge pine tree in my back yard, and put the plank near the top as a base. Then, I'd get another plank until I make sort of a tree house. I would then run to my house and get as much food and water as I could, along with a sleeping bag, some rope, and a coat. After putting all of this up there. I'd collect rainwater with it so I can drink when I run out of water. By now, I'm guessing some zombies are going to be near me, so I'd take this big machete from my garage, plus and axe, climb up the tree without them seeing me, then wait. I figure I'd have enough food to survive for at least 90 days up there, as I have at least 15 packs of cereal in my house, and I'm used to eating one meal a day. Not eating has it's good side effects...
I think 90 days is enough to be rescued. | |
| | Share your paranormal experience | | I would like to hear other people's experiences with the paranormal. I do not want to hear how God or otherwise will be our savior, I just want to hear your experience and what you believe was happening.I've had a few over the years but most recently my sister asked me to check out my nephew's room. My nephew, who was then 4 yrs old, refused to sleep in his room. He would sleep in the living room, which was on the other end of the house. I checked out the room and didn't really feel anything, but decided to sleep the night instead. I set up my sleeping bag, and settled in for the night. I was asleep for a couple hours when I was woken up by a child's voice whispering in my ear. I heard him say urgently "he's coming, he's coming". My body froze and I then heard a man's low grumbing voice, but I could not make out what he was saying. I couldn't ope my eyes, move, breathe. I then heard something that sounded like a snake slithering through a hole. I knew there was asmall hole in the wall behind me. I had it, I was not going to lay through any more. I shot up, asked for all spirits to move on, leave my family alone and then I slept the rest of the night with my nephew... | |
| | | How I got a house through meditation | | A house, a motorcycle, cable television, and unlimited internet priveleges, with the fastest possible connection available? All this came about from sitting down indian style and staring off into space?, you ask. Yes, it did. And more. Much more. You see, what we believe about this world is, in a word, wrong. I discovered this through intense contemplation of my situation at that time; I was homeless, living in a shelter in Norristown, with some mentally challlenged individuals. The chief aim of these people consisted of how much they could loaf around and still get government assistance. I was in a deep depression, being all of 26, and no direction in life was presenting itself. I felt like a failure in the worst of ways. I had let down my girlfriend, my father, and finally, myself. I lost everything, and I mean every thing, but the clothes in my black, plastic garbage-bag and the ones on my back. I had no money, no resources, except for this shelter, and it was fast becoming the middle of winter. What was I to do? I didn't belong with these losers. Or maybe I did. A few weeks went by until I started becoming wise to the ways of the system. You could get things... | |

| | Camping gone wrong! Horribly wrong! | | My family decided to go on a camping trip and although I didn't want to go I was forced. So we drive about two hours away to a "campsite" which happened to be off the side of the highway and our "lot" was the size of two parking spaces and the lots where only three feet away from each other. So we move on. We find an alright location and build a fire. Well no one brought hotdogs so we had to leave and go to a gas station to buy weenies to roast. Well as much trouble that we went through to find a gas station(12 miles away) the hot dogs burned on the outside and were cold in the middle. Well as we all huddeled into the tent to sleep all six of us in one tent, it started to rain lightly. My step dad had gas and my two sisters where laughing all night. Suddenly the tent springs a leak on my oldest sisters side. So her pillow gets all wet and they make me trade her for my dry pillow. Then my little sisters sleeping bag gets wet and they make me trade my sleeping bag to. So im in a wet sleeping bag with a wet pillow case and to top that they made me sleep on the side that had a leak. Everyone fell asleep just great after that! Except me!!! Not with mom snoring, gassy mcgee and the... | |
