| One day in March 10 years ago I received a call telling me that a man was going to shot a litter of stray kittens.He said he had tried to shoo them out from under his storage buildingbut couldn't get them to leave.. I asked him to give me a day to try to trap them..He said if they were still there in an hour that he would blast them.I brought a travel kennel and crawled under the building after blocking all the entrances except one which had the kennel in place.Those kittens were about 3-4 weeks old and terrified...I caught 3 of them...the forth slipped past the kennel and awayMomma stood at a distance watch...then took off with the escapee.I left with the 3 hoping the 4th would stay clear..I found homes for 2 and kept the third.You will see pic of her below and I also use herfor my cat category photo.I still carry a scar on my arm from that rescue.Have you evr done anything like that impulsively before?xoxoxoxoxo |
