Small Dog Pet Bed Discussions| Good dog for children | | Does anyone know which breed of dog is good for children? I have a 2 year-old, and she's pretty rough with pets, so I need one with a lot of patience, who would feel more protective of her, rather than irritated by her. We have a boxer, who is great with her, but she stays outside, and I'd like a small inside dog. Any ideas would be great. | |
| | My chihuahua...Lola Boogie | | I started a thread for advice before I got my pup. She is amazing, such a smart dog. Potty trained in one day and night. I took her right away to get her shots, and she will be going back in 2 wks. She didn't flinch with the shots, not one whimper. The first day she slept alot. Just nodded out in one second. Man I wish I could do that. My son adores her. He even cleans up after her business. I bought her some bones, and she takes off with them and tries to bury them in her bed. I gave her a real meat bone with all the dangerous stuff trimmed from it (we don't want her to get sick)She cleaned up. The bone was white 20 minutes later. I am so happy that I got her!
Was your chihuahua easy to potty train? What else can I teach her? She is so happy to see us when we get home,my husband is with her most of the day. What else can I get to entertain her, when we are gone for a few hours? Also I was told not to take her outside, until she gets 4-5 mo's old. Is that right? It was so nice today, I really wanted to take her out, but I thought I better not, just in case. | |

| | Cats won't accept new dog and as a result we have .... CAT FIGHTS | | I have three cats. A year ago we got a puppy dog, a welsh pembroke corgie. The first couple of months were HORRIBLE because none of my cats would accept the dog and they'd just GROWL at her all the time. After one year, they started to accept the dog but we still have problems. The red cat perfectly accepted her, he just pushes her away with paws If she barks too much. The black and white cat sometimes tries to scratch her If she gets annoying. The orange and white cat HATES her and If he could he'd kill her, but he doesn't scratch her.However, we now have a HUGE problem. The two cats who don't like the dog always stay in my room. They like to sleep on my bed and they have been doing it since they were puppies. The three of them never had any problems but now, anytime the red cat enters the room, they start to growl and the get into a fight. They start to scratch each other for no apparent reason, it's not only the red cat they try to scratch, they do it with one another and it's impossible to make them stop.Why do you think it's happening? what should I do? | | Name for small dog | | I am feeling glad because my dog has just born a child. I like small dog, that's always. The small dog is white, that is color I like the most. The small is also very lovely. I'm always interested in naming for a small dog. I used to name for some small dogs before, for exam is "Dollar", "Rain", "WorldCup", "Bibi", ect.
